Game on at the CYC!
Students will have fun being active and creating their own sports team in RecSPORTS Club! This semester Wednesday will be Dodgeball and Fridays will be wiffle ball. (The sport choices will change each semester.) The students will be split in two teams for each sport, learn the rules of the game, use their creativity to design a team name and mascot, and compete against each other for fun.
With the help of staff, teams will learn what sponsorship is and be put to the challenge to find a sponsor to purchase their team jerseys! Sponsorship is not only a large aspect of sports, but an important life skill that we want the kids to feel confident in tackling.
