“It is said that with the help of teachers, families and Community, a child can become lifelong learners, independent workers, and critical thinkers.” Sharon Napoli CYC, Director of Childcare moved to Monterey from Fresno, California. She’s a graduate of California state university, Fresno. She earned a BA degree in Liberal Studies, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and her Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. Mrs. Napoli later to graduate courses in Special Education, at California State University, Monterey Bay, while working in the Special Education Department at North Monterey County High School as a Resource Specialist Program teacher. She later became a site supervisor/program lead at a private childcare center in Presidio of Monterey. Mrs. Napoli has been in education for over 25 years and has worked in grade levels from preschool to high school. During her free time, she enjoys doing arts, crafts, reading, hiking, watching old, classic movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband have four children and two grandchildren.
